There are three openings for the following sales territories in the Southeast: 1) Atlanta Metro, Western Alabama 2) Western TN, Nashville TN 3) Louisiana, Mississippi, Southern Alabama, Florida Pan Handle.

The Territory Manager (TM) is responsible for managing their territory in a way that safely fosters profitability of the Trus Joist Product Line. This role reports to the Southeast Region Manager.

Key Functions:
Represent and role model the company's values in safety, ethics, and professionalism
Drive sales and profit by creating primary demand for our products through our builders, dealers, design community and building officials.
Develop and implement an overall territory game plan that maximizes the opportunity for success
Develop and implement specific strategic account management plans for the market-distributors, builders, dealers and integrators.
Develops and delivers the customer-specific Trus Joist value proposition solutions and software solutions that quantifiably demonstrate improved returns for the builder.
Focused on selling solutions to generate profit. Ability to demonstrate value to the builder's bottom line in order to capture profit throughout the channel.
Responsible for the overall customer (dealer and integrator) relationship, and coordinates with distribution's inside and outside sales team sales.
Develop and nurture relationships with key customers, architects, specifiers, etc.
Develop relationships at the appropriate customer levels to grow the business and to ensure that the customer plays an active role in determining how they want to be serviced.
Provide product and solution knowledge training/education to our distributors, builders, dealers, design community and building officials in alignment with the Trus Joist training program.

Proven Safety Leadership

Understands and can persuasively explain residential construction, technical and design concepts in terms of value-creation to the Builder.
Aggressive and persistent in achieving goals
Ability to sell a broad portfolio of products
Minimum 3 years work experience in sales, engineering or other industry related field

Knowledgeable of Engineered Lumber Products

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
