Must be:
20 years of age or older.

Capabilities Requirement:
Teach, Coach, Encourage, and hold accountable all personnel on each shift:
cashiers, cooks, and trainers.
Be a mature and responsible role model.
Inventory management:
Understand the dynamics of managing food costs through training and oversight.
Insure that all daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly tasks and responsibilities are being completed correctly.
Labor management:
the management of productivity on each shift.
Insure that daily cash drawers, safe and credit cards are balanced.
Operate the store to meet or exceed budgeted operating goal.
Insure that all product quality standards are met.
Create an environment of 'excellent work,' 'team work,' and 'fun' within your store.
Develop employees through 'stretch' assignments to build their personal confidence and professional experience.
Training and employee development skills
Responsibilities:
The role of a Zaxby's assistant manager (AM) is to effectively and actively manage shifts in the store.
Common duties for this role would include:
assigning team members to positions, work with the trainers to help each team member improve their work performance and develop new store skills through 'stretch assignments,' ensuring performance measures and goals are met, monitoring business assets, (labor, productivity, inventory, equipment, and cash), and handling any escalated needs during the shift.
This role ensures that the environment (CULTURE) of the store during each shift projects ZAXBY'S core values:
Guest Focused, Develop Talent, Operational Excellence, and Continuous Improvement.
